Fan Favorites: Killer Boots

Maybe I'm overly excited for fall, but I like to think I'm just planning ahead. I recently blogged about my J.Crew fall wish list, and yesterday I went on and on about my new Madewell boots. I love them! Last year my go-to boots were basic black leather lace-up style Seychelles boots. While I adored them and wore them with almost every casual outfit, I desired something different: either tall boots or ankle boots.

I did a little bit of hunting around the web and curated a delightful mixture of both kinds of boots for today. I would purchase, wear, and work any of these brownish boots in a second.

These printed boots from Anthropologie are kind of sick. I love the earth tones and the Aztec pattern is so eye-catching. I think these would look really great with a blue skirt.

I recently became a big fan of ASOS for its awesome clothes and prices. I started browsing the boot collection and found some real goodies to share. First of all, I love shearling. Therefore, chunky boot plus shearling cuff equals one happy blogger. And the heel just makes them that much better. These paired with a cute, casual black dress? Yes. I also really like zippers. This grungy little side-zip boot made me think of something you'd find in a pile of men's shoes in a thrift shop. I'd pick them up and pair them with some super skinny jeans for a tom-boyish look.

Huzzah! This is the J.Crew booker boot. I love this boot. I love this boot because the color is so magnificently delicious. And they are comfortable. 

I'm still a huge sucker for Seychelles boots. I love the tan suede of this boot and how they loosely tie around the ankle. And the 4 inch heel is pretty sweet, too.

Madewell probably has the perfect shoe selection this season. There are some stunning ankle boots, leather loafers, and oxfords catching my eye. But these equestrian style boots are kind of a no-brainer for me. Timeless. Stunning. Boots.
