How do you glam up a rather masculine look?

I discovered Milanese fashion designer Alessandra Colombo on the Sartorialist a couple of weeks ago. I didn't know her before, but now I'm in love. Her style is super masculine with the slightest hints of femininity. She can take a super structured blazer and pair it with straight, shapeless trouser and then simply glam it up with gold accessories, fur, or a cute smile.
